I don’t know how I lived before I got smart plugs, but I use them for everything. From my smartphone, I am able to boil my kettle, adjust my thermostat, set mood lighting in my bedroom and so much more. I’m a gamer, but sometimes gaming can be tough on days where your hands or arms hurt, especially if they are struggling to respond as quickly as I’d like them to. Gaming is one of my favourite pastimes and I would be distraught if I couldn’t do it anymore, so I look forward to this form of technology becoming more mainstream and therefore more affordable.Robotic vacuum cleaner
We’ve all seen them online – those adorable little cylindrical friends that make cleaning so much easier. But these are actually a fantastic way for disabled people specifically to be able to take control of their cleaning. The robot works by mapping out the floor plan of your home, and you can select which areas need more or less attention on any given day – then the robot gets to work, allowing you to enjoy a tidy home without having to use a vacuum cleaner.
