Small things that will impress your girlfriend for women’s day

Women’s day is such a good reason to celebrate the lovely women you have in your life. And if we’re talking about your significant other, making her happy on this special day should be on your list. But instead of big gestures and expensive gifts, how about you show your appreciation through small and meaningful acts throughout the day? In this article, we’ve put together a list of things that you can do to make your girlfriend feel special on women’s day. Read along and get ready for a day of celebration and happiness.

Sticky notes The first suggestion we have is a very small thing that you can use anytime you want to show your girlfriend some appreciation. All you need is a notes block and some inspiration. Write a compliment, a thank you note or just a lovely memory you and your girlfriend share on a sticky note and leave it somewhere she can easily see it. You can do this everyday and start a new tradition, or you can write a lot of them and spread them around the house on the 8th of March to create a surprise. Use inside jokes, memories, compliments and supportive messages to make sure you put a smile on her face. Pair this up with a nice gesture such as cooking her breakfast, or a flower bouquet if you want to take it to the next level.  Fashion game How many times did your girlfriend give you “suggestions” on what to wear or how to wear different clothes? We assume it happened more than once. If you want to make her feel listened to and happy in a different way, this is the suggestion for you. Try to remember her suggestions and come up with an outfit that she’s been wanting you to wear. This could be a specific style she likes or a piece she’s been telling you about. For example, pair up some loose trousers with a fitted cable knit sweater, then add some rings, a necklace and a coat. This is one of the popular looks going around the internet right now, so it makes it a safe choice if you are out of ideas. Put this outfit on and take her out to dinner and we’re sure she will be happy. Make sure you’re comfortable in the outfits as well. Handmade gift Lastly, you can’t go wrong with a handmade gift. You can be as creative as you want here, based on your skills. Scrapbooks, photo albums, ceramic pieces or home cooked meals are some ideas. You can either do it for her, or do it with her as an experience. You can find classes for different things such as cocktail making, cooking or painting. This is a gift that will make sure you both treasure the experience and the memories.
