Plan some last minute days out
When I think about what it is that all of us love about Summer, I think its something to do with a throwback to when we were children and would get six long weeks of freedom to fill however we wanted. Think about it – some of the best memories of being a kid come from being out in the sun, at beaches and funfairs on bright and sunny days. I want to keep that energy going by planning some last minute days out before the sun is finally gone for the season, because even if it isn’t beaming hot I can at least make some new memories for the end of the Summer.Keep your Summer scent going
I am definitely someone who likes to switch out my scent depending on the season. This Summer my partner has been obsessed with the DKNY Coconuts About Summer perfume and we were talking about how we weren’t ready to let it go just yet – and then we realised that there is no reason we have to! Instead of switching this out for a more Autumnal scent we are going to grab another bottle – especially because there is a free gift with purchase right now – and keep that Summer scent going for as long as we want to.Wear bright clothes even when it gets chilly
One of my favourite things about Summer is that everything is so bright and colourful. I am all about bold colours and wearing eye-catching outfits, so I love when Summer comes along and I can pull out my neons and brights. Pink has been an especially popular colour this year with both men and women thanks to a certain blockbuster hit, and I love the idea of keeping the Summer going for longer by keeping my brightest clothes out to make me shine even when the sun goes behind the clouds.Eat Summer foods
As the days start to get shorter and chillier, we all seem to collectively move towards foods that are going to keep us cosy and fill us up for longer, with foods that are in season during the Autumn and Winter months. But there is no actual rule that you have to do this! Keep the Summer vibes going with lighter foods, lots of juicy fruit (there are still some great fruits in season like cherries and peaches!) and even the occasional BBQ if you can manage it. Do you like to make the most of Summer and keep it going for as long as possible?
